露草 Aobana 2.0 — the biggest update yet, with Aobana Reibun 1.2 for Anki.

Aobana is an offline Japanese sentence search engine for your own subtitles, e-books, manga and text files: type a word, get every sentence it appears in, with furigana.

New in Aobana 2.0

- i+1 sentences: load the words you know (a word list, Jiten, Migaku or your Anki decks) and "i+1 only" keeps sentences where the searched word is the only one you don't know.

- Search by reading: a word only where it has that reading: 好く＝すく, or 丸＝がん, which also finds 弾丸.

- Custom: your .txt and Markdown files (Notion exports too) as a fourth source.

- Several folders per media, and Open in Media from any result.

New in Aobana Reibun 1.2 (Anki add-on)

- i+1 only for the sentences it fills in

- Your Anki decks as Aobana's known words

- A Reading field: only sentences with the card's reading

Updating: 1.9 updates itself; anything older: download 2.0 from GitHub. Then run Check library and Index library (2.0 rebuilds each index). Reibun 1.2 needs Aobana 2.0.
